Compatible SSD upgrades for the BCM BC246C Motherboard.

The BCM BC246C supports one SSD/Drive type which are M.2 (2280) SSDs. We have SSDs available for your BCM BC246C in capacities of 960GB to 240GB. There will be no limitation on the maximum capacity that you can install.

- Important: Non-ECC or ECC Unbuffered memory cannot be mixed within the BCM BC246C

- Higher frequency memory (measured in MT/s) will clock down to run at optimal speed within your BCM BC246C Motherboard depending on processor model and number of modules installed.

- Please note Mhz is always half of MT/s. MT/s is the abbreviation for megatransfers / million transfers per second and is the more effective way to measure DDR4 memory frequency.- Install identical modules for best performance. For example if your model has 2 slots, purchase 2 modules for best performance and Dual-Channel mode.

- Can i mix the memory capacity per slot in my BCM BC246C Motherboard? Yes. This is a commonly asked question and you can mix capacities but best performance comes from installing indentical DDR4 modules.
