Today we are going to look at the DJI Mavic Pro 4K Quadcopter and all the features it has to offer consumers and how to make the most of its features. The DJI Mavic Pro 4K Quadcopter Drone is small snappy agile drone measuring 8.3cm x 8.3cm x 19.8cm as small as a bottle of water when folded up, meaning it can be transported easily to different locations ready for flight. The DJI Mavic Pro has a different feel and look to the usually DJI range, it has more contour and angular shape making it look more like a stealth bomber than a drone. The DJI Mavic Pro has a weight of 743g meaning this drone weighs less then than a bag of 1Kg Sugar.

With the DJI Mavic Pro being small, agile and light this means the drone can reach a massive speed of 40mph with the air. The battery is also great on the DJI giving the user a 27 min flight time at a speed of consistent 15.5 mph (25 kph)) also on offer is the flight range on the Mavic Pro giving user a 7Km roughly 4.3 miles worth of flight space. But should at any point the GPS get interrupted or the battery runs out on the Mavic Pro the drone has a return home option which will return to the point that it was dispatched from. So there is no need to be worried whilst in flight with the Drone that you will lose it at any point.

On the Mavic Pro another plus point is that is has been built with a  ‘FlightAutonomy’  so it can sense objects within 15m (49ft) and change its route to miss them, or brake and hover to avoid an accident reducing crashes and the damage control.

The Video options that the DJI Mavic Pro has are simply fantastic you can record your flight via 4K Video with the 3 Axios Gimbal this gives the camera stability making clear viewing. You can also connect the Mavic Pro to the DJI Go 4 App and you can stream the flight straight to your smartphone at 1080p not as great as 4K but still great clarity with the DJI App you can also select many different flight modes such as the Active Track lets you pick an object and this will track the object whilst you concentrate on flying, The tap fly- a great feature where you can tap on the screen and the Mavic Pro will automatically fly to that location avoiding different opjects in it way. The trace feature will either stay in front of or behind the object whilst tracking it. The spotlight mode will keep the object within the centre of the frame. Another great feature that camera offers is it has a gesture mode so with different hand signals you can take a photo or change the angle.

The DJI Mavic Pro 4K takes a Micro SD memory card, for 4K Videos we would recommend a U3 rated memory card. This would be due to the read and write speed of the memory card. The maximum memory card this would allow would be a 128GB memory card. If you require one of these memory cards please click here and it will take you to all the suitable memory cards. A 128GB memory card would hold around 264 mins of 4K Video time.

I think that the DJI Mavic Pro 4K is an excellent drone with plenty of hours of entertainment for all the family not just using the drone but watching all the great captured moments over and over again. I think that this would be a great investment for anyone no matter what the hobbies would be this drone can be used for anything. Now where is my remote control…
